The main tasks of the Department of Planning and Finances are: a long-term and current organization of specialists training at the university; planning and arrangement of financial activities of the university; preparation of long-term and annual cost estimates and plans for the use of general and special funds in accordance with applicable regulations.

The responsibilities of the employees of the department include calculating the price of paid services provided by the university and improvement of the methods of these costs calculation.

Together with the Accounting Office and other departments of the university, the employees of the Department of Planning and Finances ensure the rational and efficient use of funds of the general and special funds of the university; develop measures to improve planning and financing of the university, the system of material support of departments, incentives, bonuses and financial assistance to staff, students, post-graduate students and resident physicians.
